Thing about that site sat which I generated the list of airport restaurants is it is strictly pilot-contributor maintained on an as you go basis.
If someone put Moriss's restaurant on 5 years ago and it's gone now, unless someone like you goes on the site (joining is free and they do not spam you) and corrects that it stays there.

It was not intended to be a list of all airports within 75 mile."
I only searched for all within 75 miles believed to have restaurants on airport or in walking distance. I guess no one has entered KRPJ as known to have restaurant on or walkable to.
If you know otherwise you can get on there and add the restaurant .

Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: Airport Restaurants

Today there were 12 planes at the Rochelle restaurant at noon, including
a flight of six and a Baron. The line boys offered a ride in the golf
cart and provided chocks. Great day for flying!

Hi Alex,

I'm planning on flying to Rochelle today. I just wish it were farther
away so I could get in more flying time. Although it is just far enough
to qualify for cross country as a Sport Pilot.

Alex, what are you flying and where are you based? I'd like to meet up
with fellow LSA pilots for lunch.

Local Veterans Remembered During the Holidays

Wreaths Across AmericaTM Day To Honor Veterans At Oakwood Cemetery And Over 750+ Participating Locations Nationwide.

October 11th, 2013, Waco, Texas - On Saturday December, 14th, 2013 members of the Waco community will gather together to honor veterans during the holiday season as part of the annual Wreaths Across America Day.

The Civil Air Patrol's Waco Composite Squadron has volunteered to conduct the ceremony this year at Oakwood Cemetery on Saturday December 14th, 2013 starting at 11:00 a.m. CST. Seven ceremonial wreaths will be placed to remember all soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who served, honor their sacrifices, and teach our younger generations about the high cost of our freedoms.

Specially designated wreaths for the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, and POW/MIA will be placed on memorials during a ceremony that will be coordinated simultaneously at over 750 participating locations all across the country.

There are over 35,000 persons buried at Oakwood Cemetery. Although the exact number of graves belonging to veterans is unknown, approximately 6% of McLennan County is a military veteran. Our goal is to raise funds for over 2,000 wreaths to place on the graves of veterans. This is a major fund raising event for the cadet program in Waco.Currently almost 100 wreaths are slated for delivery to Oakwood Cemetery but sponsorships are still available up until November 25th. Sponsorships received after that date will be applied to 2014 events.

In 2013 it is projected that over 400,000 wreaths will be placed nationwide, by over 150,000 volunteers as part of the Wreaths Across America mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach.

The Wreaths Across AmericaTM story began over 20 years ago when the Worcester Wreath Company from Harrington, Maine initiated a tradition of donating and placing wreaths on the headstones of our Nation's fallen heroes at Arlington National Cemetery. Recognition of the service and sacrifice of our veterans, and their families, is especially poignant during the traditional holiday season.

Worcester Wreath Company continues to be a major supporter of the project, donating over 30,000 total wreaths in 2011. Over 400,000 wreaths will be sponsored by individuals, businesses, and groups from communities Nation-wide. Wreaths will be placed in all 50 states from Maine to Alaska and Hawaii, and at 24 national cemeteries on foreign soil.

Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Looking to drive down to Fl. to meet and fly this weekend Fly IN

I tried to send one before to the group. So this might be a repeat. I was looking to drive to Flroida to see the Fly in and meet some of you. I would like to ask if anyone would take me up for a ride. I have a Hp Aventura with a Hirth motor. 53 hp.

I should be leaving Wed. and by Thursday sometime I will be in the Florida area. I also was looking to stop at some Light Sport hangers. adn see some of the planes out there.

If anyone would be going to the Fly ins and other things let me know, so i can Map it out too.

Okay, first I need to correct my previous post. I learned Dutch rolls, not Barrel rolls. So, along with my flight lessons, my terminology is improving as well.

I have 9 hours under my belt at this point, and feel pretty comfortable in all the maneuvers learned so far. I find that landing the plane is still an anxious moment for me. In fact, I dread that moment. Maybe Im over-thinking the process. Seems like a lot of information being processed at the same time. We did some touch and goes today which seem to help Hopefully by the time I am ready to solo, it clicks.

Today was my second time up. The week dragged by with much anticipation for
today. I read my student book cover to cover twice, took notes for
questions I wanted to ask, filled in all the blanks according to the
aircraft I am studying in, and went through every normal procedure in my
head for the week.

This morning I got to do the pre flight, taxi, run-up, and TAKE-OFF under my
own control. What a rush!

Once up I learned rudder and aileron control to make 30 degree turns, and
barrel maneuvers while pointed at a fixed point to keep the plane in line.
This took a few tries, but then I was able to coordinate the foot pedals
with the stick and kept it pointing straight through the maneuver.
The time flew by (quite literally) and before I knew it, I was instructed to
head back to the airport and make our decent. My instructor took over and
brought us in for the final and landing.

I am looking forward to next week! I hope I can at least follow the yellow
line by then while taxiing. That seems the hardest part so far.
