Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Selling my Skyranger ELSA w Rotax 912 in Oregon

Almost hate to post this...will miss it.

Me and two friends just purchased an flew home a Tecnan Bravo P2004 factory built light sport

As much as I love the SKR , at max _practical_ cruise of CAS of , say, 85-90 mph , no baggage space to speak of (though we do have a nice removable external luggage pod), not too great for the kind of cross country flying we want to do.
(The Tecnam can easily cruise at CAS of 125mph+, and actually is more fuel efficient.. In miles per gallon...than the Skyranger.)

So Skyranger is for sale. ~800 hours. Built in 2004. New exhaust , heater, great MGL radio ,
Semi bush tires makes for soft landings, quite a a few extras, no transponder. Well maintained recent professional carb sync, oil, plugs, compression check. External slick luggage pod.

Really spectacular visibility.

Email me for more details and pics.

Or for starters take a look at these videos shot simultaniously from inside and ourside the the cockpit:

and

 Asking $29,000..... Or offer.

Re: Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group LEDs

If it is experimental, you can put anything you want on it. If it is an SLSA, you need to contact the manufacturer to see what types they will issue and LOA for.  PMA approval is irrelevant in either case.

Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: LEDs

I used Whelen on my latest project.  They look like a quality product.  Very light weight.

What type of aircraft do you wish to install these on?

I was wondering what kind of LED position markers and landing lites people are using. All of the "approved" bulbs seem too pricey to me. Thanks
