Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: I'm interested inacquiring

Your better off getting an Aeroprakt than a CTLS. Bigger inside and easier to get in and out. And.less money.

For that money, why don't you look at a Flight Design CTLS?  WIDE Cabin, BRS Chute and more!

If you buy a plane with first sitting in it you are an idiot. That said, you should be fine.

Thanks for the input! Also, I'm 6ft 260lb and wonder if I'd be comfortable in the 701.

Would certainly fly one first to be sure it is a good fit. My student bought one, very nice flying-very responsive.. Landings need a strong learning curve-for us, pretty much needs to be power on.  John Weber CFI-LS

Unless you are at a high altitude, a 100hp 912 is overkill for a 701. Save 10K and buy a used 80hp 912.

I'm interested in acquiring a Zenith CH-701, preferably with a Rotax 912. Any input pro or con? I'm a LSRM.

Thanks!.
