Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group LSA

Well that is not exactly correct either. Since research indicates the first in habitants to North America came across a land bridge or  ice during a ice age even Native Americans immigrated here from the Asian continent. They just did it earlier then Europeans. Since it has been proven the first Europeans to make it to North America were the Vikings and not Columbus who actually never sat foot on the North American continent.

While I agree with you on the Reagan bit China truly is the enemy. They do not play fairly. They do everything to keep our products out of China while dumping there products here because they are government subsidized industries. There are no worker laws in China and many industries use child labor. The pollution controls are non existent which causes pollution from China to make its way here in the US and Canada. They constantly are developing viruses to try and crash our military and government computers. They do nothing to stop North Korea. We have to kiss their butt because they hold all our National debt and if they called in their markers we would be in big trouble.

Isn't the good ol' USA a foreign country in itself? As I recall the indigenous American Indians are the only ones who are truly not foreigners and we don't listen to them anyway. Isn't the word "foreign" a relative and subjective term depending on ones perspective? I'm most interested in good innovative products, not who makes them. This country sold our makers, our workers down the road a long time ago as I recall, it was that actor guy who acted as a president for a few years as I recall. Did we not vote for the very people who wanted and profitted by this global economy, the new world order as some used to refer to it as? Don't they coddle to the wealthy who profit from it all, wars included? Let's get real. The Chinese people are not our enemies.

Gary, if you're so worried about buying foreign products, get a Lycoming.

It's kinda strange though... I'm wondering why you bought a foreign SLSA when you could have bought one from Chuck's Glider Supply right here in the US of A for a lot less money??
