Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Mi-8 Rotary Engine

Hey Groups,
Is there anyone out there that'd be in a good position to follow through
with this company? I am not a manufacturer, so I don't appear to be these
folk's target audience. I'm still able to eval one unit and technical enough
to make suggestions - but I am in no way a manufacturer, nor likely to be.

It's not often that a company will make such a request for info such as
this, so I'd rather not let this slip by without anyone taking a shot at it.

Thanks,
Bill Watson

Hello Bill,

We are following up on our previous correspondence with you regarding
our Mi-8 Rotary piston engine to get a better understanding of
production quantities of the four different engine capacities.

We would appreciate your help in forwarding your comments and
recommendations on the following items listed below so we can formulate
our production commitments.

Could you send us your response on your COMPANY LETTER HEAD to the
following five items;

1. A description of your company, its size, its nature of business and
the market(s) you cover in terms of both products and geographical area.

2. A statement that your company has become aware of MAET's range of
MI-8 Rotary Piston Internal Combustion Engines and your desire to use
MAET's engine products as an OEM or Dealer in your country or
geographical area.

3. Your company's assessment of the market where you will be
using/selling the engines, your comments on the features/qualities of
the Mi-8 Rotary Piston engine/s, and why you think MAET's engines would
sell well in this market.

4. What modifications (if any) you would recommend to make the engines
to better suit your needs and market.

5. How many engines [of each size] you would aim to use in your products
over the next three years and what percentage of the market that
quantity represents.

The responses to items 1-5 from you, does not oblige you to become
MAET's distributor or to purchase any engines from us. However, the
information you provide will greatly assist us for business planning
purposes and will enable us to meet your requirements more effectively
should you subsequently become an OEM buyer or a Distributor of our
products.

We look forward to your cooperation in helping us to provide the best
support for our Mi-8 engine products.

Kindest Regards
Graeme

Howdy,

How much is one? Do you want it tested on anything that flies? I have
the
perfect test setup if you do.

Thank you,
Bill Watson
