Yes, perhaps I am a bit harsh, I can be that way, but my point is the answer is more nuanced than just saying "elevator". Now, don't EVEN get me started on "pitch for airspeed or pitch for......" LOL
LOL. There's a good joke about that. The old timer who after getting a lecture from a young instructor gets to the runway on his BFR and starts pumping the stick. The kid says, "What are you doing?" Old guy says, "I'm building airspeed. As soon as we get to 50 KTS I'll add full power and we'll climb out of here." LOL.
