Gary,

So you are flying just ASEL only, and not WSCL as well, correct?  Did you go rec because there were no LSA in your area, or because no SPCFI's?  (No SPCFI's was what you said, but not sure if that was what you meant.)  A regular CFI can give instruction in a LSA, you don't need a SPCFI specifically.  You may know that, just clarifying.
