I don't know Richard...If I was that big I wouldn't think of flying, let alone using even a ladder!!!Couldn't resist it.Have you thought of getting the Rec ticket in a 1 72 or 182? That way you can bypass the checkride in the trike and just fly SP afterwards. That's what I did. I didn't have a two seater at the time and there were no SPCFI's near me when I started out with this. Or do you still need the training part in a trike still?Good luck on your pursuits.Gary O.

First it would not be my word, it would be the word of the instructor that referred me to the examiner.
I weight ~300 pounds in my birthday suit.
Add street clothes, helmet, flight suit, etc and the total is more like 320 pounds.

That doesn't bypass the checkride in the trike. Different cat/class. Yes, it wouldn't be called a checkride, it would be a proficiency check, but it would still be an endorsement with an instructor, and then a ride with another instructor to confirm proficiency.
