Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: Vertical Card Compass Question

I have been using a PAI-700 for 3+ years w/o any trouble. It doesn't run off a gyro. There is an assortment brackets to fit it to almost anything. It is adjustable so it can be zeroed in. Like I said it works fine for me and I don't know anything about the one from China.

The Precision PAI-700 Vertical Card Compass is made in the USA and sells for around $270 and the other looks like a PAI-700 copy, is made in China, and can be purchased for significantly less money. If you have any experience with either of these and are able to offer information or an opinion it would be much appreciated.
