Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Meeting of the Pueblo Historical Aircraft Society at PWAM



Pilots and non pilots are invited to attend the monthly membership meeting of the Pueblo Historical Aircraft Society (PHAS). PHAS manages and operates the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum in Pueblo Colorado located on the grounds of the Pueblo Memorial Airport (PUB). If you are interested in becoming a member of PHAS, come and attend the meeting. Please feel free to share this message with anyone you think might be interested.

BTW, the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum is on Facebook. You can get military and aviation history, current events and updates on museum activities. Contact the museum at service@pwam.org to get an application to join.

Yeah, we've been really swamped. The economy has really turned around
here in the DC area and we have new students showing up every day.
We've picked up 4 in the past 3 days with 3 more likely in the next 2 days.

Helen, that is fantastic!  :) I'd be flying at your school if I lived there.

I was out at the airport yesterday for KRHV's airport day. Pretty fun. :)

Also I forgot to post helping my dad build his vans rv 12...

Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Announcing new LSA s



On Friday June 24, two Pipistrel Virus SW LSA aircraft and one selflaunch Taurus sailplane received their LSA Airworthiness Certificates. There are the first Pipistrel aircraft to receive LSA certification.
 
One Virus SW was certificated as a glider and one as an airplane. The Taurus selflaunch sailplane is of course a glider. It is the Rotax 503 version not the battery powered one. The glider Virus SW goes to San Antonio Light Sport near San Antonio, TX. and the airplane version to ouy dealer in the twin cities area on Minnesota.
 
Other versions of these remarkable aircraft have been flying in the USA for more than 6 years as Experimental, Racing/Exhibition aircraft.
