Hi Helen,
You are so knowledgeable about these things, I fly ultralight. My Rotax
377 with a plastic filter as well as my Rotax 503, which due to weight,
required the transition to ELSA. I don't believe these engines are
really safe to fly with ANY ethanol. In Florida, I see reports of
planes crashing frequently. I wonder if it is just due to high traffic
in Central Florida or if autogas just isn't safe. What do you think?
