Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: flight training in appropriate airplane

I trained in QuickSilver Sports and a Challenger II - I think the Hawk handles more like the Quicks (big tails and all), but the landing viewpoint is much more like the Challenger.

Either way, the Hawk single seat I had was extremely stable, went right where I pointed it, and was very easy to fly first time up given the 20hrs experience I had at the time.
