Jim, I have zero hours in a trike, but I am seriously considering buying one as my next flying machine.
A couple of recent surgeries have left me breathing through a hole in my neck and without a voicebox, makes it difficult to operate the damn radio! Time to sell the Cessna and go back to flying ultralight type machines from uncontrolled fields.

What kind of controls ARE usually available in the back seat? I am curious about the ability of the examiner to steer the trike on the ground from the back seat. Is this usually available on most trikes used for instruction?
