I believe this course may be at first in Europe (Aviation Exp[o in Germany). Its focused more on production/QA/Contd AW side than Design standards. The QA standard currently is category specific. Different for airplanes than say PPC or WSC. However, FAA is not buying that and wants a harmonized QA and Continued Airworthiness standard which makes sense.
