Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Registration Question

Hi,

    I am buying a 2-place Quicksilver Sport 2S aircraft from the original owner who is a private pilot, the aircraft is registered EXPERIMENTAL, but because of failing health the owner "cancelled" the N-number on it several years ago, and the aircraft has been sitting in the hangar.  My question is:  what documents do I need from him at the time of purchase? so I can register this aircraft in my name.
