Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group LSA to Bahamas

(I am a newbie, so be gentle).

LSA rated sport pilots are able to fly from US gateways to the Bahamas.  

Can one fly, say, from FLL to Bahamas to STT under their sport license?
