Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Fw: our own worst enemy

Subject: our own worst enemy

I have resently been working on some ultralight training issues and have come to the conclusion
that  ultralighters have alot more control over the image of ultralight flying than they give themselvs credit for. after talking to several UL pilots i realized that if they were talking to a person wanting to get into flying ULs they probably would have changed ther mind with the bleek outlook that was demonstrated.
in resent years we have been hit hard But if we want the industry to  improve we must start with our own perspective.   we all love to fly  i think we should encourage everyone that wants to learn to fly to do so, make it part of the challange.  dont make it sound like an impossible task.
You aren't defeated until you quit trying.

I will be at Sun N Fun at the Ultralight Headquarters tent all next week.  If you would like to talk about this issue or anything else involved in flying, give me a call.  We can meet up.
