I purchased an audio cord from Aircraft Spruce that allowed me to patch in my head set and connect to the aircraft intercom system. The cord also had a jack that could be plugged into the microphone input of a handheld digital recorder. It records both all cockpit conversation as well as the radio calls. Quality is very good.
