Lol..yep….that pronunciation gets a lot of people! My aunt owned the West Court Dairy Queen in Beatrice for many many years, so I’m quite familiar with the town. I was born and raised about 50 miles southwest of there.

Haha...Yea.. The funniest part was when I was about 15 miles out, making my first radio calls... They let me know pretty quickly that the correct pronunciation was Be-AT-trice, and not BEE-a-trice ;)
