Pipistrel reaches milestone in aircraft delivery
Pipistrel has reached a milestone for its Sinus/Virus family by completing its 600th aircraft. The company, founded in 1989, will deliver the aircraft to a customer in Australia. "We are proud to announce that our entire yearly production for 2014 has been sold out already, so aircraft number 700 will also be produced this year," company officials said. Like I said earlier Cessna could have done this. They had a clean slate and could have designed any plane they wanted. Instead they screwed it up in every possible. I seriously looked at these because of their fantastic fuel economy but the headroom wasn't there. It would fit plenty of other pilots though. Other than that I was vary impressed.
