What I was trying to get across is that you don't need to spend 80-120k on any new airplane. Plenty of used out there. Plenty of experimentals out there. One does not need to buy a new SLSA. 

SP vs private?  Sure a private can do more. Sure SP has limits. More training equals more privileges. Many people are happy flying within the limits of SP.
