RE: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: Challenge

Over the last week or so there has been talk of "afraid of getting a medical".  I had a medical (private lic.) some 40 years ago. Has the medical requirements change over the years. There was mention of a cancer survivor having a problem.
I am one but with no aftereffects.  So is a medical hard to obtain for a 70 year old in good health?
