The two main sign offs IMO...
Every sport pilot MUST have either a endorsement to fly aircraft with
max cruise speed (Vh) less than 87knots or for more than 87knots ....
Or both.
if you want to fly into class D C or B air space you need an endorsement
for that.
You are required to carry in the plane with you the log with these
endorsements "or other evidence" that you have them. AOPA lawer I spoke
to said if don't want to carry logbook with the endorsements with you
your license plus photocopies of endorsements covers you.
By the way: Remember the recent ost here Richard who lost his logbook?
Replacing those endorsements if you lost your logbook could be a major
has sell and even more important than being able to document than you
have logged 300 hours in the last 4 years.
In short...another reason to mAke. Copy of your log.
