You do tie down the tail don't you? A piece of plastic pipe between the stick and front of the seat can keep it centered where you want the elevator to be.

We had massive aircraft damage all around the state with the storms that
blew through Friday. Many of my students and neighbors are still out of
power. I started looking at gust locks again and found these folks who
make them for LSA. They don't have a phone number though and my e-mail
as of Tuesday has not been answered. The biggest question I have is how
to they attach. The photos aren't very good but it looks like it may be
directly to the panel, which is most of our LSAs is flimsy plastic and
would not be my first choice for an attach point for a gust lock.
Anyone on the list have first hand experience with this brand and
preferably a contact number for the manufacturer?
