Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Interested in "Sport License" Signoffs?

Is there a maximum fuel load?  I hadn't heard of one, but I'm not yet working on getting my Sport Pilot's license.  Hope to in the not too distant future though.  I have most of the hours from years past, but I'm not proficient at the moment.  I'm assuming that past hours count for the time, but a certain level of proficiency must be passed and maintained.

Increase in plane weight is called a private pilots license. Distance? There is no restriction in distance other then the fuel carried for Sport Pilot. The only signs offs other then for Seaplane sport which does have a higher weight then SEL LSA is for flight in Class B & C airspace and tail dragger that I know of.

Can anyone tell me about further sign-offs to the sport license. Increase in plane wieght? Increases in distance and so on? Do these exist or is this just wishful thinking?
