After my morning post about Yahoos rules, the two remaining problem
members stepped up their written rants and attacks forcing Gary and me
to ban them from the list. One of these members, pgabruce, has created
an alternate list of sport_aircraft list members to which he has been
sending mail and over which we have no control. If you are still
receiving unsolicited and unwanted mail from this individual, I suggest
that you take the advice of my 3rd grade teacher and "ignore him so he
will go away." If he persists you can add his address to your spam
filter or else report him to his e-mail carrier at:

http://mail.google.com/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=abuse

Now let us return to civilized discussion about light sport aircraft.

That used to be a 50 mile leg and a total of 150 miles back in the day, but physical location restrictions caused the rules to be changed to 25. I ended up a 65 mile leg because the canadian border was too close north and the flight school didn't let me fly east over the Cascades. South was my best option. They also had an issue with me going through the Seattle TCA at that time, further restricting my options

The 50/150 deal, is still valid for private
The 25/75 is for Sport Pilot

Chris, love your videos but have to tell you I watched another and that has
got to be the flight lesson of all time. Were you able to even hear all that
was going on? Wow, great job. Again, congratulations.

Thanks Gary and everyone else too.
"Were you able to even hear all that
was going on?"
Do you mean all the radio chatter?
This is normal for Deer Valley. It is the busiest GA Airport in the country.
After about my 3rd lesson I started doing all radio calls. I have not been
to a uncontrolled airport yet so that will be strange for me lol

Cheers,
Chris
