Good thought and I agree with you Bob,
 
Good riddance to Cessna. It makes more room for more and better competition in this country. I'm for paying American workers more and getting more from them rather than crying that they (we) are getting paid too much. There's nothing wrong with getting paid more as long as we are worth more. It's all relative. With that said let's go out and build a better plane as Bob says. Cessna is gone, chine can pay their CEO his inflated salary while they pay their workers $1.84   Do we care what Cessna does or do we want a better plane without inflated prices?  I say let China have Cessna and Continental and let's move on.

All this talk about the new LSA's that are being built out of the Country - has anyone thought about building some planes in our Country - that would have some new (old) ideas?  I remember - decades ago - someone flew a solar powered UL - accross the English Channel.  With new improved batteries, could that be something we should explore - more?
