Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group RV-12 For Training

Can anyone comment on the suitability of the Vans RV-12 for private pilot training?

Being an E-LSA I don't believe its legal for commercial training but if you owned it, you could be trained in it.

The aircraft has a reputation for excellent handling, ease of landing and robust construction. It has a good useful load of about 580 lbs and well equipped is relatively cost effective at about $80k.

Any thoughts?
