Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group does anyone know if the FAA is considering changing ?

As far as i can see MOST LSA's And "Advanced Ultralight's" (in Canada) Can take 2 people at 220lbs. Mine can and its a mid range price AC (X Air Hawk). Nothing fancy. I had a Challenger II And it also could take me 185lbs and a rear passenger at 225 No problem. Just need a few more ft of runway but still can get off at 1200ft. with full gas.Its true i try to limit the passenger to 220 with only 15gals of gas. However i have done it with the full 22 gals on board.
