Anyone remember the RV-8? that crashed on takeoff departing from Sun-n-Fun a couple of years ago. I saw those two guys loading up for the trip home only minutes before the crash. The story told was that the canopy came open soon after liftoff and they couldn't keep it in the air. Double fatal crash just east of the airport.
