Yeah, I knew you were talking about new factory built airplanes, that's why I mentioned The CGS Hawk. But new factory built airplanes are NOT the only turn-key solution to buying a low-cost airplane. Used sportmobiles can be bought for about the same price as the old "fat-UL's". Airplanes are available if you want something inexpensive, and nicer-newer airplanes are available for a slight additional cost ;)

I'm a big believer in capitalism (I also believe in gravity and other natural occurances). So I'm sure if there's a way for the manufacturers to make a profit (I believe in those too) they will make and sell whatever the market demands.
