I have only recieved ONE new license over the past few years, and it was a
plastic one that they issued when I had them change my pilot and mechanic's
licenses from the old format that used your social security number.
I didn't think it had a picture on it 'till just now when the subject came
up here on the SporAircraft list. I looked again and sure enough there's my
picture on the back! I'm the one with the full head of hair and the
moustace! I don't know who the elderly looking guy next to me is...
