Not true! You can be denied and live again.  If you are denied as I was you just have to fight uphill though all the red tape until you get it back!  Expect to do lot of tests often and report directly to OK, OK.  I now have the same time reporting period for a third class as I had before for a first class medical.  They just try to wear you down and make it too expensive to go on.  Jerry

It's been 6 weeks since I took my last exam. Because I had a laryngectomy recently, my case has to go the Headquarters for a decision by the Flight Surgeon. After 3 doctors and piles of paperwork I'm STILL waiting for the results.
