RE: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group New topic, what are we?

We are a mixed breed for sure. I started off as GA and stopped advancing my license when they wanted me to fly through clouds as my next trick. I did keep learning by getting into aerobatics. While doing that, I figured if I ever needed to use the costume (parachute) I was wearing, I should go and learn about that too. So off I went jumping out of planes. The myth that they are perfectly good planes doesn't hold too true! All along this time I kept noticing the brightly colored planes as I drove a certain stretch of freeway. After years I stopped by and that took my on my next path of UL flying. Someone said why don't you instruct and after finding out what it took, went for that as well. Flying all I wanted on someone else's nickel is great! From my perspective, even though the flight school occasionally gave me $10, I considered myself making $100/hr since I didn't have to pay.

So I went Part 91, Part 105, Part 103, and back to Part 91 with a 103 emphasis! Maybe I'll go Part 101 someday…
