Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Renting a Skycatcher

So much for GA support from CPC's and what to do with the leftovers. I guess Sport was not really to introduce, or reduce cost's as far as cessna is concerned. They rule I guess thats the way it will be. At least Helen is paveing the way it should be, i think. How about you?

Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Renting a Skycatcher

Hi everyone, thought I would share this some-what interesting info I found out this evening.  The Skycatcher, being targeted and promoted as a Light Sport A/C, requires at least a third class medical in order to rent and fly in it - at least at the local flight school. Of course, this is only the flight schools requirements. Maybe it is an insurance thing??  Any thoughts?

I might add this flight school is located in Wichita, KS, nonetheless.
