They should check with NASA Dryden Flight Research Center they have some Mach II tape that is good to over 1400 MPH, they could call it Mach Buster.

Its called 200mph tape by the racers who tape up their cars after a crash  A Kitfox is a 100mph plane They can't bust a proven patch up About the only downside may be a shiny ass at the FAA issuing a directive that only XZY brand is to be used in conjunction with a notification and approval on form FAA 139276 in triplicate

I don't understand why they would feel the need to do this. Patched up planes are flown out of the bush in Alaska frequently. What "myth" do they intend to "bust"?
