Some lay people seem to think that aircraft have to be absolutely perfect or they

can't function at all. It may be that the Mythbuster Guys are working to take

advantage of that viewpoint on this particular show.

I agree, I saw the photo's of the plane...too much damage to use duct tape to make a repair.  I guess it's all in fun to keep people wondering
