Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group FW: Leasebacks

> A leaseback to a flight school should be looked at two ways...
1) it helps people to afford a new airplane that they may not otherwise afford.
2) It is a business. Business tools get used. But they create tax advantages
and income for their owners. Leasebacks are a good thing for poor flyers
or wealthy flyers.

This is why the school and instructors must have high standards and train their
customers of what is expected. I often turn down renters (I.E. 'big time' jet pilots)
because they (some) do not want to conform to our LSA rules of operation
(light winds, 45 day currency in type, debugging post flight).
A $ 20 profit is not worth the hassle with some 'bad' customers.

for an hour and treat the airplane like he owns it. Gently.

Very interesting post!
I especially enjoyed the last paragraph.
