Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: SportCruiser flight this weekend

Hi Roger,
In 10 years the difference in inspection and maintenance costs themselves between E-LSA and S-LSA might be enough to not worry about the re-sale of S-LSA versus E-LSA. Meaning your cost of ownership in 10 years may save you the amount of what difference there might be, if any between SLSA and ELSA.
Now if we are talking E-LSA's that are essentially 51% Exp-AB (not really E-LSA but..) or grandfathered E-LSA from the UL trainers which transitioned in as E-LSA well that's a completely different matter. But factory kit E-LSA's is what I am focusing on here.

Just like I said, put the Sensenich prop on, pitch it and airworthy it. If done here we will do all the flight testing before end user takes it.
> I don't think if an airplane is properly maintained with documented logbooks etc. there will be much difference in price in re-sale over time. That makes sense except for schools wanting to use an airplane for training and rental ... they would want to restrict their buying search to S-LSA's. But honestly, you know what happens in flight schools. Would you looking for an airplane for yourself, rather buy an airplane banged in on touch n' goes by students all the time, engine run hard, going up and down all the time or buy an E-LSA owned by a person with all logbooks in order with no major damage history? That will basically give you the answer.
