I can't remember where I found it (maybe news letter from EAA???) but I found a link to a video of them doing their first run up and melting some snow from the apron in front of the hangar.  Awesome!!!!

Did you happen to catch the article about Sonex putting a turbine engine on one of their planes? Apparently they found a small European turbine that is powerful enough. Maybe the days of the recip are numbered?

I really like the look of the SportCruiser. If it was in the budget
and flew as well as reported, it would probably be in the hangar. I
looked at one extensively at the Lumberton, NC air-show one year. They
offered a ride but I declined as I knew I couldn't afford it and didn't
want to tie the guys up on a non-sale.

For now I'll continue to fly my Sonex. It is a blast to fly and has a
lot of good things going for it but it certainly doesn't have that
cockpit room of the SportCruiser.
