It uses true three axis controls with a double surface wing. It was used in the competition held in France in 1984. At present it is about 80% complete and won honorable mention at Oshkosh in 1984. The plane has a Rotax 503 installed with a belt reduction but also includes a gear box. It has not been flown in a while so an engine tear down would be in order to replace the seals at least. It has one aileron frame as a pattern to make the other. The lower boom tubes need to be built and may be included in the package. It does have the tail feathers covered in ceconite that need the silver and finnish coats applied. It has new wing sails from Dick Chaney that have never been installed (Colors are black center section, black outboard with a lime green center section). It also includes a nose pod and a 10 gal lay back seat tank. It is single place but can be converted into a two place. It uses a double surface wing that has a 28' span. The plane uses a belt drive which will allow the use of any 503 engine from non provisional to provision 8. (Non provisional 503s are much cheaper than the later models.) The short wings and
503 engine make it a bit of a hot rod. It has a GCS prop hub that will need new blades. The plane belongs to Derreck Turner the designers son and is located in Ft Meyers, FL. He wants $6,000 for the plane assembled (non flyable due to the engine) or $4,000 apart. If you are interested in this plane email me at rogpoyn@yahoo.com and I will get you both linked up. Take care Roger Poyner
