Wow Gary, that is very helpful and thank you!  What a bummer!  I can't believe I didn't stumble on this through all of my 'browsing'.... I will certainly take this into consideration and thanks.

Hi Eric,
I wanted to let you know about the Sportcurser problems before you made a decision. There are over 80 different SLSA's out there and I would hope you would continue to look into this. Looks like the ones they have left they are trying to get rid of. This is bad news. But keep up the great work. These things are fantastic machines for the price.

Check this site:    http://www.sportaircraftworks.com/home.html  for info...

You were asking about it on the Yahoo group and thought you would want to know this information.

Out of Palm Springs (KPSP) and spent 3.5 hours in it.  I laugh everytime when I think about how much fun it was.  I have about 70 hours in a 177, and this just blows the experience away..   Of course, the purposes are different, but boy, this could be a great cruiser for sure..

It's very nice and very comfortable and an excellent speed range.  I found it to be an awesome airplane.  I've given some checkrides in it so don't have lots of hands on time, but a bit just to see how it felt.  I really liked it.  Where did you fly it?

Hello all;

This Saturday the wife and I flew the SportCruiser around for the day.  What an absolute kick in the pants.  Fast, easy and has all of the goodies a GA pilot like myself could want in a small cruiser for the wife and I.  We are seriously considering picking one up.  Is there anyone else that has experience with the SportCruiser and could share their experiences with me?

Thanks.

Eric
