Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: SportCruiser flight this weekend

I dunno Helen, when I was running the Jabiru 3300 in my plane, the dealer was in Fresno, about 150 miles north of my home in the Mojave desert. I never actually went to his shop, but he was quite helpful over the phone and parts were were usually here within 24 hours on that big Brown truck that delivers parts and musical gear to my remote outpost ;)

Have you ever had the chance to fly with the Jabiru? That 6 cylinder is a work of art to look at, and runs sooooo smoooottthhh.

But don't get me wrong, the Rotax is a great engine too.  And I'm sure I'll have a 912 in my future.

The Rotax service centers generally aren't used for routine mx but for overhauls and parts supply.  Your typical A&P doesn't do overhauls of any model of engine nor is she a distributor for parts for any model of engine, including a Jabiru.  I say again, how many service centers does Jabiru have set up in the USA and where are they located?  Rotax has 4: FL, MS, CA, and WI.
