Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Can anyone read German

Hi Jay,

You are correct on the excessive fuel burn. Back a few years ago Jim
Gordon from Noblesville, Indiana built a jet powered Mitchel Wing.
Since it was an ultralight he was restricted to a five gallon fuel
tank. This made for approximately 20 minutes of air time per tank. You
can see a You Tube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7igFzSyr-8k .

Take Care,

I can't speak for Abid, but I do know that turbines are usually operated in
the flight levels because they're real fuel hogs down lower.
