Well …flight schools (mine included) with 152's would get 4.5 gph burn for training flights with lots of touch and goes and the long x country would burn 5.5 gph.

I do think it will take a LITTLE extra fuel since once you achieve pattern
altitude you will be using lower power settings, real low on final...
And I don't know many people that would want to spend 1 1/2 hours doing touch
and go's ;-) if you did your close enough to the airport to refuel and go back
up!
