It actually has more payload than I was told and it flies much better than some European counterparts and not to mention faster than them. They may look faster but they ain't. I am no big fan of Cessna and I don't control that part/division of the company but I have to give credit where its due.
Yes sure its not meant to take a 300 pound pilot but I honestly don't think most LSA's are but you can can have a good 4 hour range and fly two 200 pound people in it with no problem. The problem only comes in when schools insist on filling up the gas tank regardless of weight and want to fly 200+ pound people in it. That's pure laziness and bad planning.
