The answer is not anything that can be done on the airplane after
take-off. If he would have stayed in the toilet he might have been
successful.

Security of flight must happen at the airport before take-off. But I
guess now that some nut-job had explosives tied to his underwear that
we will all be required to take ours off so they can have a look-see
at it. Mom always said to wear clean undies.

My suggestion would have been to put the fire out, take him to the
rear door, set him on fire again, and push his radical, gee-hawd
behind into the open sky at about 30,000 feet without a chute.

Sounds cruel? So does plotting to kill over 200 passengers ...
