That Flomax is a really bad idea, they gave me that when I was in the hospitol and my blood pressure droped to 60 over 30 and my kidneys failed completly, I almost died, they put me in ICU for a week to save my life. if I had not been in the hospitol where they could out me in ICU quicklley I would not have made it.Jim

Lets look at this in another perspective. This guy got on the plane in Amsterdam. Oh wait that is not the US so maybe they should look at the security issues there instead of here. So now to make flying on commercial airlines more irritating then it already is now all flights not just international flights you have further restrictions. Not sure how older folks are going to be able to handle not getting up the last hour. Maybe should invest in stock of the company that makes Flomax. In a message dated 12/28/2009 1:31:18 P.M. Pretty soon they'll just have us flying naked.----- Original Message -----From: brianmacgeekSent: Monday, December 28, 2009 12:06 PMSubject: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group How about a WAY off-topic discussion for the day?Is it just me, or do the new restrictions being placed on commercial travel resulting from the latest stupid-person trying to set himself on fire over Christmas just as silly of a reaction to the problem? I mean really....? You can't go to the bathroom an hour before landing. You can't have anything on your lap during the last hour. No blanket, no PDA, no... laptop.
The more I hear about this stuff the more I just shake my head and am glad I'm working toward a license. I picture some day where it's going to be so stupid-ridiculous to fly commercially that people are going to start either a. not traveling at all, or b. getting their own private license to avoid flying via the commercial airlines entirely - at least continentally.
The next thing you know the terrorists are going to weave the bomb into their clothes - so they'll ban clothes when flying, which could prove, uhm, interesting? It's not a far stretch, after all, the shoe bomber managed to have us all have to take our shoes off at the airport now.
I'm not trying to advocate getting rid of security all together, but lets use some common sense folks. There are many very well documented cases of people intentionally getting around security. The whole 3oz. limit of fluids (or whatever level it is) is ridiculous as well. If 10 terrorists got together on a 250 seat plane with 10 bottles, that would make more than enough of any explosive to get on board... heck, even 3oz. of the right item could be bad (I'm no chemist, but I can't imagine 10 minutes of Googling wouldn't turn up something).
*sigh*.... sorry, and thanks for letting me vent.
