Re: Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group I need help

Joe, you are going to have a hard time finding a light sport plane that
fits you at that size. Given a 200lb examiner and 2 hours of fuel you
would need to find a plane that weighs 610lbs or less. You are going to
have a hard time finding a plane that light that has seats substantial
enough to support you and a cabin wide enough to fit you. Your best bet
is likely to either loose weight or go for a private pilot certificate
in a much larger plane like a Cessna 182. If you can drop even 150lbs
your light sport options broaden considerably.
