Light-Sport Aircraft Yahoo group Re: Wonder if I'll fit

That's the point I was getting at in an earlier post and got a bit of
push back. It's just that if you put in couple of 170 pounder FAA
types and filled the tanks you just might make it.

But putting a couple of real people in the airplane and a couple of
hours of fuel with reserve usually is over gross.

I do understand that we deal with the airplane as it is and not try to
make it something it isn't. I also ride motorcycles and many would be
surprised at how low the useful load is on most of them. Even some of
the bigger road bikes. Just the way it is ...
